Another gorgeous bird on the Galapagos Islands is the Frigate. The scarlet chest indicates it’s a male. They inflate it during mating season to attract the females, who have a white chest. Only one egg is born per bird a season, and they only breed every other year. Their large wing span allows them to soar for days on wind currents.
